NAID and PRISM members prepare to elect 2021 Board of Directors
January 20, 2021 – i-SIGMA, the International Secure Information Governance & Management Association®, the principal global trade association for secure information lifecycle management, has nominated Glenn Laga, CEO and Founder of Guardian Data Destruction, as one of the candidates for President Elect of the organization’s Board of Directors.
Laga’s background spans an accomplished logistics career of 40+ years. As an innovator for the transportation industry, he specialized in developing logistics services in the packing and shipping of IT assets which led to the evolution of secure, onsite data destruction. In addition to 15 years at the helm of Guardian Data Destruction, a nationwide provider of onsite data destruction services, data center services and logistics, Laga is a frequent speaker, lobbyist, advisor and panelist for the asset disposition industry. Laga served on the NAID (National Association of Information Destruction) Board of Directors for two consecutive terms which included oversight of the union of NAID and Prism creating the umbrella i-SIGMA organization.

i-SIGMA is hosting a variety of digital channel options for voting members to become informed about the 2021 slate of Board candidates. In addition to the private member portal, each candidate has a video statement online and is responding to questions posted i-SIGMA LinkedIn Group pages throughout February. Additionally, the association will also be hosting Virtual Townhalls for each open position on the board. Voted-in Directors will be installed to the Board during the virtual i-SIGMA Annual Member Meeting on 18 March 2021.
