The IT asset disposition business is a crowded market. There are hundreds, maybe thousands, of players providing outsourced services for enterprise businesses as they retire outdated IT and office equipment. For most ITADs, core offerings are typically built around reverse logistics, data sanitization, testing and resale, proper recycling and (of course) an audit trail with reporting.
So, what ITAD services need to be in place to deliver quality, consistent, enterprise-level services?
ASCDI’s disposITion 2020 hosted an expert roundtable to discuss three essentials to ITAD growth and high performance: erasure and imaging services, ERP and onsite data destruction.
Rike Sandlin of Rivervista Partners moderated the session and used his extensive ITAD experience to formulate questions that focused on operational excellence, accountability and reporting.
The “Empowering ITAD Services” session included Softthinks (Dave Maik), IQ Reseller (Bill Blegen) and Guardian Data Destruction President and Founder Glenn Laga. Each speaker presented valuable product and application tips to help ITADs grow, mitigate risk (data security, environmental, compliance) and increase their value to their market.
