When Guardian Data Destruction moved from Long Island City, New York to New Jersey, 18,500 sq ft sounded mighty big. Five years later, we’re moving our headquarters and warehouse to almost triple our capacity to 45,000 square feet and provide a higher volume of cross docking for regional pickups. It’s a short move, just a quick walk around the corner, but it will allow Guardian to accommodate our expanded services and growing outsource requests from our VARs and ITADs.
With added pressure from the coronavirus crisis, we’re seeing a complete change in the asset disposition and redeployment landscape. As office environment become more unstructured with work-from-home and a fluid workforce, customized outsourced lease return and redeployment programs are exploding. And, as companies move to the cloud or as data centers move or grow, site decommissioning and lift and shift programs require more space and personnel.
Responsiveness and innovation are part of the Guardian DNA and fundamental to our nationwide growth. We view this physical move as providing the added value that makes Guardian the data destruction partner of choice.
Due to COVID-19 health concerns, an open house at Guardian’s new headquarters has been delayed until employee and guest health and safety concerns can be fully addressed. We’d love to provide you with a private walk-through or video tour of our new home:
