Rob Alston

Prior to joining Guardian, Rob Mika’ele Alston held the position of Chief Executive Officer at Access Information Management, the world’s largest privately-held records and information management (RIM) services provider worldwide. During his eleven-year tenure as CEO, Access scaled into 6 countries, adding thousands of team members and tens of thousands of clients while managing multiple private equity recapitalizations and completing over 160 acquisitions.

In addition to his time at Access, Rob is a partner at Oros Management Company, a boutique investment fund, focused on the records and information management (RIM) industry where he is involved in a portfolio of companies across four continents completing more than 200 acquisitions over 2 decades.

A graduate of Boston University’s Questrom School of Management and Punahou School in Honolulu, Rob serves on the boards of several private equity and venture capital-backed companies and serves as a trustee for two Hawaii-based non-profits.

Born and raised in Kailua, Hawaii, Rob has always enjoyed an active lifestyle in the ocean or the mountains. When he’s not flying across the country, you’ll find him on his hobby farm on Maui with his wife of 20 years, two sons, three dogs and eight chickens.
