Guardian Data Destruction stands in Unity

To our Guardian Family of employees, customers, partners, friends and loved ones,

Like you, I have been watching the current events unfold over the past week. It has been an emotional time for all of us. I have had many emotions ranging from anger, sadness, confusion and sorrow. I don’t know what to say, but want to let you know that this situation is affecting not only me, but everyone around me. I am personally horrified and have great remorse about the death of George Floyd and extend my sincere condolences to all his family and friends.

At Guardian, and within our homes, we are proud to be a diverse family. We will continue to grow, support and be proud of our culture of diversity. I believe our differences make us stronger. I want to make a clear statement outlining our support for peaceful protest, open conversation and our stance against discrimination and racism in all forms. We condemn acts of injustice, violence, looting, personal disrespect and destruction in any form.

I hope that, individually and collectively, we come together and we unite to better our lives and stay true to the Guardian core values of respect for all, leadership by example, and individual growth by education. And, as Americans and local communities, we draw together to practice equality and social justice.

Truly,

Glenn Laga
