For our 5th event hosted by and in support of the NFL, Verizon and SHI… we were pleased to report another successful E-waste recycling event on January 19th 2019. As a tradition, the sponsors and a local affiliate, The Atlanta Zoo, host a recycle event for the local community as a give back for the city hosting the Super Bowl. This year we loaded four 53 foot trailers of all types of e-waste ranging from microwaves, cameras, TVs, vacuum cleaners and computers for over 450 local residents! The event was a huge success despite the rain and wind. Multiple TV stations were onsite broadcasting live, which ultimately lead to a huge influx of residents in the last few hours of the event. Our thanks and appreciation goes out the NFL, VERIZION, SHI and The Atlanta Zoo, as well as all the volunteers that helped out!
