Based on David Marquet’s Intent-based Leadership methodology, the in-depth presentation focused on the language of “we” and building a solution-based thought process.

Growth and Improvement Focus
Departmental success and growth plans may not be the most exciting part of any annual meeting but the Guardian teams were pumped up. Each service group presented its wins, areas for improvement, hiring needs and goals.
Across the company, policies and procedures were reviewed to control confidentiality and preserve data integrity and security across all office and offsite locations. The collective focus was creating proactive solutions internally and for Guardian customers.
- Adoption of new Project Management, Secure File Transfer, IT Asset and Warehouse Management Software (WMS) solutions
- IT certifications including CCNA (Cisco Certified Network Associate) & CompTia Network+
- Expanded capacity Enterprise and Data Center Services:
- Network resets for Cisco and Juniper routers, switches, firewalls, and more
- Power up and Power down services
- Disk sanitization including remote hard drive erasure, customized onsite hard drive erasure, hyper-scale erasure and enterprise erasure
Connecting the team is right up our alley
While Guardian’s mission is to be the leading provider of data destruction and IT asset services, we know that our success is dependent on our warrior workforce. As individuals and teams arrived at Guardian’s New Jersey headquarters, you could feel the synergy. Because of our national onsite model, some drivers, leads and technicians see each other far less than other dedicated project teams. As reunions rolled out, job-related stories, family updates and laughs were shared. New employees were introduced and pulled into the fold. Training sessions were full of suggestions, raised hands and big smiles. Enthusiasm and excitement made the Guardian office vibrate with possibility and energy.
After a day of good training, the entire #GuardianFamily gathered for an evening of good, clean fun: bowling, dinner and trophies!
