Truly a Great Accomplishment

Glenn Laga

A collaboration of three local companies giving back to the local community. It all started two years ago at the CIANJ Annual Luncheon where David Spano, Vice President of marketing for Konica Minolta, met Glenn Laga, president of Guardian Data Destruction. Both are longtime members of CIANJ and sponsors for this event. This eventually led to a conversation about data destruction services for Hackensack Meridian Health in order to properly dispose of all sensitive data on the hard drives of the copiers and printers that are being replaced by Konica Minolta.
One year later, and the entire program that was created with local companies, was launched successfully. Glenn decided to make a generous donation after experiencing the excellent work done by Tackle Kids Cancer firsthand. Tackle Kids Cancer is a program run by the Children’s Cancer Institute at Hackensack Meridian Health which helps provide clinical care, support services and research efforts to find a cure for kid’s cancer. “This is an example of the values of CIANJ and how members can work together for the betterment of the local community,” Laga said.
